Upon arrival, I was greeted with a refreshing drink and a lovely handwritten card, which set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The cottage was meticulously furnished, providing everything needed for a comfortable retreat, including a secure yard for my furry friend to explore freely. The remote location amid majestic mountains and a clear, starlit sky allowed for serene stargazing and invigorating hikes in the nearby fynbos veld. I found the dipping pool particularly refreshing-a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploration.
